This first post consists of some awesome summer products that can help you through the warmer months and the necessary changes in makeup for the season! I'm currently obsessed with light pink hues when it comes to nails and lips. It's such a classic, clean, polished look and gorgeous for summer! Here are four products I'm obsessing over this week:
For nails- Sally Hansen's Diamond Strength collection created a color called "Champagne Toast 220". I picked this up yesterday at Target for under $5 and I'm loving this shade! Apply two coats of polish because of its light pigmentation and then add a top coat (I prefer OPI's Top Coat polish!). This color really enhances the natural appearance of nails while offering a slight pink tinge and a sparkly finish.
For lips- A couple of days ago I picked up a shade of MAC lipstick that I've been dying to get my hands on for summer called "Creme Cup" from MAC's Cremesheen lipstick collection. Ladies this color is simply gorgeous! It gives a slight pink look to the lips that can feel a little drying at first! I recommend applying lip balm 15 minutes before applying this lipstick in order to protect your lips from flaking after the application of the lipstick! I also topped off this shade with Clinique's Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in "Grapefruit 10"- this stuff is the best! It's not sticky and makes your lip color last for hours.
For the face- I've been addicted to Clinique's moisture surge face lotion. This stuff almost feels like a gel without leaving a sticky feeling to the face. It keeps my face from feeling dry while not adding an oily texture to my skin! I recommend using this before applying your foundation and makeup for the day :)
